Japan Schedule of Stay (滞在予定表): free sample and generator

The Schedule of Stay (Taizai Yoteihyo, 滞在予定表) is the daily itinerary form the Embassy of Japan requires with every tourist visa application filed at the Japan Visa Application Centre (VFS Global) in the Philippines. It lists each date of your trip, your planned activities, a contact number, and where you will sleep that night.

Reviewers read it to check that your plan is realistic: sensible travel times, real hotels with phone numbers, and an accommodation entry that carries through to your departure day. A vague or copy-pasted itinerary is one of the most common reasons first-time applications get questioned.

Below is a complete, filled-up sample generated by Dayfoli in the official layout. Build your own in about two minutes: answer a short wizard and print the exact same A4 form with your cities, dates and hotels.

How it works

  1. Pick cities & nights: tap the cities in visiting order; Dayfoli checks the 15-day norm and route sanity live.
  2. Set dates & flights: real flights from your departure airport, with published times, or type your own flight numbers.
  3. Print the A4: the official Schedule of Stay (滞在予定表) layout, ready for the Japan Visa Application Centre.

Frequently asked

What goes in each column of the Schedule of Stay?

Date (月日): every day of the trip including arrival and departure. Activity Plan (行動予定): flights, trains and sights for that day. Contact (連絡先): a phone number, normally the hotel’s. Accommodation (宿泊予定先): the hotel’s name and address, repeated on your departure day since you check out that morning.

Can I submit this itinerary with my Japan visa application?

Yes. The generator follows the Embassy of Japan’s official Schedule of Stay (滞在予定表) layout: the same columns (Date / Activity Plan / Contact / Accommodation) the Japan Visa Application Centre (VFS Global) expects, printed on A4.

Do I need confirmed bookings before submitting the itinerary?

Usually not for the itinerary itself. Most Filipino applicants submit the plan first and book flights and hotels once the visa is approved. The hotels on the generated form are real, with real addresses and phone numbers.

Is the itinerary really free to download?

Yes. Dayfoli is completely free: no sign-up, no card, no watermark. You print or save the A4 PDF straight from your browser, and nothing you type ever leaves your device.
