FAQ

Questions, answered

Yes: no sign-up, no card. The Japan tourist visa itself is also gratis (free of charge) for Philippine nationals; the Visa Center charges its own handling fee.

Yes. Your name and personal details are never recorded or sent anywhere; they stay in this browser. To improve the product we collect anonymous, generalized analytics and error logs, and keep anonymous copies of generated itineraries (cities, dates, preferences, never your name) so we can find and fix document bugs. None of it can be tied to you.

Yes, they are real hotels and restaurants matched to your budget, and the times mirror published schedules. Dayfoli does not book anything for you though: if you decide to stay at a hotel, book it for real on your booking platform of choice.

Yes. It follows the embassy’s official Schedule of Stay layout from the "Travel Itinerary" form: download, print and hand it in with your application. Downloads are A4, the size the Visa Center expects.

Two documents from one itinerary:

  1. The submission-ready embassy form: the slim, official "Travel Itinerary" you print and hand in with your application. This is the main goal, and the only document the embassy ever sees.
  2. A detailed personal version of the same trip, with times, transport and activities day by day, to actually travel with.

Not before the submission. Most applicants submit the plan first and only book everything once the visa is approved. If you decide to use the flights and hotels in your generated itinerary, you book them yourself; Dayfoli does not book anything for you.

No. It is built from formats used in approved applications, but every application is different. Everything is fully customizable: edit days, times and hotels before you download and print. Review every detail before you submit; the decision rests solely with the embassy.

Schengen launches very soon. Australia and Korea follow.

Traveling is stressful enough. The paperwork shouldn’t be.
