What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. Your name and personal details never leave your device, and Dayfoli has no accounts. When you generate an itinerary, we keep an anonymous copy of its settings (cities, nights, dates, preferences) so we can reproduce and fix document bugs. It contains no name, no custom text you typed, and is never linked to your identity.
Where your itinerary lives
In this browser’s local storage on your device, which is why your plan is still here when you come back. Building a new itinerary replaces it, and clearing this site’s browsing data removes it. We cannot see it or recover it for you.
Analytics
We collect anonymous, aggregated usage counts and error logs to improve the product, such as how many itineraries were generated. These are never tied to your identity or your trip details, and we use no advertising or tracking cookies.
The Schengen waitlist
The one exception to "nothing leaves your browser" is the waitlist: if you choose to join it, the email address you enter is stored securely so we can send you a single launch announcement. We store nothing else with it, never sell or share it, and you can ask us to remove it at any time: just email hello@dayfoli.com.
Third parties
Your trip details are never sent to anyone: not to VFS Global, the Embassy of Japan, nor the airlines and hotels named in your plan. Booking anything is always something you do yourself, on the provider’s own site.
Deleting your data
Clear this site’s browsing data in your browser settings (it lives only on your device: we can neither see it nor control it), or simply build a new itinerary to replace the old one. The anonymous itinerary copies we keep contain nothing that identifies you, so there is nothing on our side that can be traced back to you.

If this policy changes, the date above will reflect the latest revision.
